The International Trademark Association’s 148th Annual Meeting took place on 2–6 May 2026 at ExCeL London. It brought together trademark and patent practitioners, in-house counsel, brand owners and technology providers for education, business development and conversations about the future of intellectual property.

Solve Intelligence exhibited at Booth 511 in the Innovation Marketplace. Our team gave live demonstrations of AI for patent drafting, prosecution and claim charting, and met with practitioners to discuss how specialist tools could support their day-to-day work.

The week combined conversations at the booth with meetings and receptions across London. For Solve, it was an opportunity to hear how firms and in-house IP teams were evaluating AI, share what we were building and bring feedback into our product roadmap.

What we took away

The week highlighted growing participation from patent professionals, a more practical focus on selecting and governing AI tools, and rising expectations from in-house teams that outside counsel should lead on adoption. These themes shaped David Joo’s reflections on the meeting and the conversations we brought back to Solve.
