ILTACON 2026 was the International Legal Technology Association’s annual educational and networking conference, held on 23–27 August at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The event brought together professionals responsible for technology, knowledge, innovation and legal operations across law firms and corporate legal departments. ILTA reported 5,780 total attendees for the 2026 edition.
The programme featured more than 80 educational sessions, alongside an exhibition and networking activities. ILTACON’s distinctive feature is its peer-created and peer-led approach: experienced members help shape content around the issues they encounter in practice. Learning formats include panel discussions, hands-on training and attendee-driven sessions, allowing participants to compare implementation experience as well as explore new ideas.
The conference addressed the practical work of modernising legal services, including AI adoption, governance, security, information management and organisational change. These subjects are closely connected for teams responsible for selecting systems, supporting users and protecting client information. ILTACON offers those professionals a place to learn from colleagues, evaluate technology providers and understand how new tools can work within the people, processes and infrastructure of a legal organisation.
