The ABA-IPL Section Annual Meeting, known as IPLSPRING, brought the intellectual property community to the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC, on 15–17 April 2026. The main educational programme ran on 15–16 April, followed by the Section Council meeting on 17 April.
Solve Intelligence joined as an exhibitor, with Chris Parsonson, Angel Wang, Max Edgson and Christian Berrios attending. Alongside conversations at our table, Chris joined the AI & Ethics Roundup to discuss responsible AI use in patent practice.

The discussion examined AI use in patent validity, infringement and freedom-to-operate work. Chris emphasised independent source checks and informed professional judgment when reviewing AI output.
